HOST

How much can I charge for my space? Does Explora set a minimum/maximum rate?

You can charge whatever you think is fair for your property. However, be aware that there will be other hosts offering homestays in your area. You want to make sure your price is competitive. There is no maximum rate you can charge but we can only include properties with rates of P200/night and above in our listings.

How do I get paid?

Explora will forward you the payments for your listings through any of the following channels: a bank account, a credit card, a PayPal account, or a Dragonpay account. Direct cash payment from guests to hosts for the listings is not allowed. However, the mode of payment for “extra services/amenities” availed on-site will be based on the agreement between the host and the guest.

When do I get paid?

Explora releases your payout depending on the payout schedule you have indicated in the Merchant Listing Form. The time it takes for the funds to arrive in your account depends on your payout method.

Payout status

To check the status of your payout, visit your Transaction History. Once we’ve sent your payout, a “Payout” line item appears for that reservation.

If you have a minimum payout amount set, your payout won’t be released until that amount has been met. If you have multiple listings with check-ins on the same day, any funds going to the same payout method will be deposited as a single payout.

Processing time

After Explora releases the payout, it will take some time for the money to get to you.

The average processing time for each payout method is:

Weekend or holiday delays

Many banking systems don't process transactions on weekends or holidays. If your payout from Explora is completed between Friday and Sunday, it might not be processed until the next week.

If you have any questions about processing time after your Explora transaction history shows a payout has already been completed, contact your payment processor directly.

GUEST

How do I know if my payment got through?

Once a reservation has been approved and payment has been received, Explora will notify you via the email address you have provided.
